DeWolff, from the Netherlands, have been making waves on the Dutch “roots rock” scene. “Roots rock” is rock music integrated with folk, blues and country – aka the origins of rock. Made up of keyboardist Robin Piso and brothers Luka, drummer, and guitarist Pablo van de Poel, the young trio have already won a Dutch Grammy and released an impressively extensive list of albums, the most recent being their SEVENTH in January this year, entitled Tascam Tapes. Tascam Tapes is “like no other album before”, recorded solely on an 80s portable cassette recorder using samples from soul and funk tracks.
