It begins with MOYKA’s intimate luscious voice urgently imploring ‘Lover take me for a ride, I’ll be yours at first sight’ above a subtle trembling cascade of white noise and tremolo waves. These waves climax and crash into a thick heavy bass pulse that carries you and your mysterious companion over houses and trees, away towards some uncertain intimacy.

What is instantly noticeable in the production of this three minute fantasy is that it is simple and yet extremely refined, as if every element was meticulously constructed by ear rather than by sight. It seems that any producer these days can conjure up beats and melodies with plug-ins that seem fresh at first listen, but are missing the elegance of an artist/ producer who is using these tools in an intuitive way.
