Indieberlin: Tell us a little bit about your musical background.
Unnur: Music has always been a big part of my life. My dad was a guitarist and the best memories from my childhood are from the times I went with him to work, especially when he was working in theaters. I started to study jazz, pop and rock vocal performance at F.Í.H music school when I was 16 and I’m now graduated.

Indieberlin: Where do you get your inspiration from?
Unnur: I get my inspiration simply from other people, and life.

Indieberlin: If you had to describe your music to a deaf person, what would you say?
Unnur: I make catchy pop melodies, under the influence of many genres, like jazz and rock.

Indieberlin: What music do you listen to when you’re touring?
Unnur: Madonna, The cardigans, Sia and many many others.

Indieberlin: Tell us a secret about yourself.
Unnur: I got my first job when I was 9 years old. I was dubbing cartoons and it was my job for many years, I had a lot of fun!

Indieberlin: What was the last concert you went to?
Unnur: It was a great concert with Ceasetone, his song „Hey you” is in the mix!

Indieberlin: How do you feel about covering a song?
Unnur: I love to cover songs I feel I can really relate to and make my own interpretation to.

Indieberlin: Do you dream in colour or black and white?
Unnur: I dream in colour.

Thank you!
