The Raconteurs are in town and we could not be more excited

by | indieBerlin

Garage rockers The Raconteurs will be performing at Verti Music Hall tonight at 8:00 pm.
Originally formed in Detroit, Michigan, the once side project of acclaimed musician and producer Jack White (of The White Stripes) and long-time friends Brendan Benson, Patrick Keeler and Jack Lawrence (the last two of The Greenhorns fame) return to Berlin after 11 years of inactivity. Yes, it’s been that long.

With a new album under their belt titled “Help Us Stranger”, which will hit the record stores on the 21st of June, they return to the European shores for a small tour in order to grease up the engines and demand for our help and pleas for loud guitars so we can let them know how much we’ve missed them.

Never untrue to their roots, these Michiganders bring an exquisite blend of blues rock, garage rock and country-folk to the stage, with the icing on the cake being one of the most treasured guitar gods of the modern era.

So if you’re into sweet melodies and face-melting guitar solos that leave audiences in need for a plastic surgeon, be sure to get a ticket (and a doctor’s appointment) here.
