The smooth tunes of FKJ are headed to Berlin – and you can see him!

by | indieBerlin

FKJ’s music is something so unique and varied we can’t get enough. Paris-based, multi-instrumental, music producer FKJ, short for French Kiwi Juice, produces mellow and funky sounds with a combo of soul, jazz, funk, and smooth R’n’B. Coming to Berlin on 25th October this year at Festsaal Kreuzberg, you have the chance to win 2×1 tickets.

Vincent Fenton, the mastermind behind FKJ, started as a sound engineer in France, composing songs in his room and learning his many instruments before signing with French collective and label Roche Musique. It’s incredible how he has the ability to jump in between all his instruments including sax, vocals, guitars and keys building up an insane universal following. Pushing millions of Spotify plays and creating shows that sell out in Asia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and America.

“Why Are There Boundaries”

From his first EP, “Time for a Change”, where he sets his style of sophisticated pop, to his recent album, “French Kiwi Juice” was released in 2017 and was even more experimental with layered beats and rich style. The end track of the album is, in many ways, FKJ’s work’s motto: “Why Are There Boundaries”.

With his multiple genres, instruments and layers, FKJ has been coined a ‘pioneer’ and ‘one of the flag bearers’ of the French New House genre and done collaborations with big names such as Masego in infamous his song “Tadow”. FKJ is definitely something fresh in today’s music to add to your playlist!
