Video Premiere: Telos Vision – Remedy

by | indieBerlin

indieBerlin is excited to present Remedy, the latest video from Telos Vision – otherwise known as 23-year-old Swedish songwriter Teodor Boogh.

Based in Majorna Göteborg, his music is largely comprised of spacious indie soundscapes and ethereal raw vocals, complemented perfectly by battling guitar lines and a soft desert-rock feel. The track comes from his new record A Glimpse of Paradise, released on April 19th and co-produced by Per Stålberg of Welfare Sounds.

The video itself is short and sweet, with its minimalist feel allowing the music room to breathe. It’s atmospheric and poignant, with Boogh’s love of philosophy and space becoming strikingly apparent through the pensive lyrics. Seen through the rose-tinted glasses of the late 60s/early 70s, in parts it’s something of a homage to US counterculture, with a developed and eerie sound (think The War On Drugs meets George Harrison).

Rich with sharp harmonies and charmingly rough around the edges, it’s an intriguing insight into the mind of a composer we’ve not stumbled across before. The melody line is carefree and nonchalant, with Boogh’s vocals intertwining deliciously with the punchy instrumental sections.

Overall, it’s a thoughtful and mesmeric piece – we’re looking forward to see what Telos Vision has to offer next. His new record is the result of a long and organic recording process, and it’s clear that it’s worth the wait.
