Win tickets to see Quantic at IPSE on 25th May!

Following the release of his single, Atlantic Oscillations, in March of this year, Quantic is coming to Berlin to play an epic 8-hour DJ set!

IPSE is hosting the extended DJ set to celebrate the release of Quantic’s latest single. It comes at a fantastic time, just a few weeks before the release of his new album (also titled Atlantic Oscillations) in June. The single has been praised for “embodying a disco vibrancy taken directly from Brooklyn’s small disco and dance clubs” and Quantic admits that this is partly where his inspiration came from: “I’ve had the chance to see some great DJs and got into the disco edit and some incredible dance songs. NYC summers are great for outdoor parties and I wanted to make something which was long and had a real journey for these kind of parties.”

The track is named after the weather phenomenon; Quantic got the idea in an email from his mother. Although it begins with a simple bassline, the song “evolves into a symphonic experience, building a tension that swells with darkness”. Quantic says, “The whole song is based around the bassline. After this the guitar was added and then drums from Caito Sanchez. Caito plays a lot of disco with Midnight Magic so he really had this feel down.”

Also known by his given name, Will Holland, Quantic is from Worcestershire in England, but currently lives in New York, after spending seven years in Columbia. Latin influences can certainly be heard in a lot of his music although he also takes inspiration from jazz music, especially after 2015 when he moved to New York City. As well as the name Quantic, Holland has played under a variety of pseudonyms, including: The Quantic Soul Orchestra, The Limp Twins, Flowering Inferno, and Ondatrópica.

Quantic is in the middle of his European tour to promote the new single and album. We are offering a few lucky fans tickets to see this fantastic artist live at IPSE. Just send an email to win(at) for your chance to win a ticket for you and a friend.
