The Stavely-Taylor sisters: Emily (vocals), Jessica (vocals, guitar) and Camilla (vocals, ukulele) played to a patient, wide-eyed and silent crowd. After each song ended the trio tried to joke and connect with the audience but it didn’t seem to go so well.
The experience of being with the talented Rachel Sermanni and the Staves was definitely worthwhile… And the three sisters seem to have attracted a still wider audience lately with the pat on the back from Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, who produced their latest album. Justin Vernon doesn’t collaborate with just anyone. It’s obvious that the Staves have something very special.
