MW:M – the most forward-thinking, creative and interesting music conference is upon us again, in our lovely city of Berlin, from 26-28 October.
Among the array of high points of this three-day get-together of the best and most brilliant minds of the new music industry is of course the showcase gigs on the 28th, presenting the coolest new acts performing in one of three of the Kulturbrauerei venues: Frannz, Maschinenhaus and Kesselhaus – and we’ve got TICKETS TO WIN.

Fifteen artists from Germany, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Hungary (with a special focus on the German state of Niedersachsen, this year’s focus partner), will perform to an audience of music professionals in one of the year’s best showcase events for up-and-coming artists.

The conference days of the MW:M ar”e also of course massively interesting for anyone involved in the music industry and focused on the future, with seminars, talks and workshops going on in Berlin’s historical Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauerberg.
Not in Berlin? No problem: This is a hybrid online-offline event. Tickets are getting tight to be had for the in-person event but there’s plenty of possibilities to dial in online – if you’re interested in grabbing a ticket for the online or the offline experience, follow this link.
The conference, as has become tradition, kicks off with the Listen to Berlin Awards on the evening of the 26th October.
Standout sessions that especially caught our eye are for example the talk on “NFTs: The power shift to artists” on Wednesday morning, the self-explanatory “Explore Europe: Gateways for Funding”, the workshop “Rights & Royalties: Simplify your processes, maximise your income”, “The Revival of True Fandom on TikTok”, “Record Label as a DAO” featuring how record labels based on the blockchain could revolutionise everything – and much more.
