Win Tickets to Pete International Airport!

If the recent Dandy Warhols 25 year anniversary show left you thirsting for more, you’re in luck. Dandys guitarist Peter Holmstrรถm’s other band Pete International Airport (actually named after a DW song) will be playing at ZUKUNFT am Ostkreuz next Friday February 15th.

Don’t be expecting a Dandys show though. Pete International Airport’s sound is much more psychedelic, moody and atmospheric. The band will be promoting it’s newest Album Safer With Wolves, “a meticulously crafted psyche rock journey into the dark heart of electronica”.

Check out the video for one of the tracks, “Flower of Evil Music” featuring Robert Levon Been of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club:

Actually, the 11-track album features many collaborations with guest singers from bands such as The Black Angels, Daydream Machine, Dark Horses, and Hopewell. And the gig will be opened by local Berlin band Le Vent whose eponymous debut album was produced by Anton Newcombe. So if psych music is your bag, the show should be a delicious treat.
