Still Corners – apre club comedown soundtrack par excellence

by | indieBerlin

A strange mix of desolation, resignation and fettered joy

Still Corners, the musical electric duo of songwriter/producer Greg Hughes and vocalist Tessa Murray, have been lulling people into false senses of security since 2008; their last two albums have been on Sub Pop and very well received. Now they’re back with new single โ€˜Horses at Nightโ€™, the perfect apres club comedown music. Written by the sea in England, โ€˜Horses at Nightโ€™ murmurs of that strange mix of desolation, resignation and fettered joy.

Still Corners’ third full length album is due for release in 2016 and is the follow up to 2013โ€™s Strange Pleasures and 2011โ€™s Creatures of an Hour (both via Sub Pop).

Watch this space for indieberlin’s upcoming interview with the duo.
