+/- is the name of the new album. Called prog-pop, post-rock, stadium-indie and a whole lot else, the band come across like a cross between Radiohead and Sigur Ros. With influences as diverse as the Pixies, Prince and the Pet Shop Boys, Mew kicked off in the middle of the nineties, but it was the third album “Frengers” which brought them success. Quiet for the last few years, the Danish noise merchants are back with a new album and an exclusive German show in Lido on 24th May.
